Marcia Hewitt - 2003

Hey BUMY! I am just starting my fourth and final year at Minnesota State University Mankato and I am very busy! One of the disadvantages of being indecisive about your major...lots to do your last year! The major I finally settled on is Mass Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. I really don't know what I am going to do after I graduate but I am leaning toward non-profit or government. I am also studying for the GRE. I am hoping to start grad school in the fall for media ethics. The ultimate goal would be to teach at a college level but I am hoping to get some of that valuable "real world" experience I keep hearing about, so grad school will be a slow and steady part time thing for now. In my spare time I am busily planning my wedding for August of 2007 to my high school sweetheart who I'm sure all you PC kids remember, Brian Zappa.
