"I am moving. I'm typing this while laying on an air mattress drinking water out of a disposable plastic cup, because the other 98% of everything I own is in Washington, DC. We moved Amanda and all of our stuff out there two weeks ago, and I've been back to wrap up a few things at work.
I'll be heading out there on a more permanent basis at the end of the month. A bit scary, but I think (/hope) we're both excited enough to plow through that awkward transition period.
Glad to hear that BUMY is doing well. So many good memories with that group, I couldn't begin to count them. Hope that all is well with you."

MELISSA MARANDA - 1997

"I'm sure you've heard that I'm getting married in May. Eric and I are looking forward to finally being in the same state again. He finished law school and I finished my MBA this May. He moved to California to be a District Attorney in the Oakland area. I am still in Baltimore and will be moving out there some time befere the wedding. I am working in Human Resources for Legg Mason. I'm researching the fun companies headquartered out in the San Fran area that I would be interested in working for." Got any ideas for her? I 'm sure she be interested if any of you have any connections.

ABBY (Marquart) BETSINGER - 2000

Abby and family were in church a few weeks ago announcing to the world the birth of Little Jack Michael, who is now 6 months old (actually he was being baptized)! KELLY MARQUART - 2002

Baptism attendee, little sis and new Aunt was also in the house. Kelly writes, "As for me...well there really isn't a whole lot to say. I moved to an apartment in downtown Minneapolis by myself (Steven's square) and I am working in Accounts Receivable at the Doubletree Park Place Hotel. I wish there were more to say other than that, well I guess that I am enjoying spending time with my little nephew!!"

Ryan Mennenga - 1996

After graduating Champlin Park Ryan went to Henn. Tech. and studied carpentry. After spending a few years in construction world it seems Ryan found something much more interesting. Yes, he found a new job working as a mail carrier in Vadnais Heights, but that's not it. Seems he found this girl named Jessica, to whom he was married on July 29, 2000 (Jessica worked for MDOT as a civil engineer). As the story usually goes, Logan was added to the home (April 25, 2004), closely followed by Nicole (March 11, 2006). Jessica soon found a new job as a mom, and the whole crew lives in Champlin.

KELLY JOHNSON - 1998

Kely's grandmom (Marge Crowell) let us know that Kelly is doing just fine, thank-you very much! She is working and living in Wisconsin... Madison to be more precise. She graduated from U of W Eau Claire with a degree in Kinesiology. She is presently working with heart patients at St. Marys Hospital. She is hopes to continue on to graduate school this fall, hoping to become an R.N.

JOSLYN BOKEN - 2006

Just phoned in that scool is going well...but the most recent excitement for her was that she tried out AND MADE the school Dance Team! YOU GO GIRL!
