JENNIE (Vakoc) Krzmarzick - 1997

Jennie is still working at Fairview University Medical Center (doing really awesome stuff, but you have to have her explain it) and living in Maple Grove with her husband Brent. The BIG news is that Jennie is getting BIGger, BIGGer, BIGGER by the hour! That's right, "bringing up baby" will be the key word in the Krzmarzick home (how's a child ever going to learn to spell that one?!). Brent and Jennie (and a host of "can't wait to be" grandparents) will be watching closely in late March.

Brent is working in the area of Long Term Care Insurance.

Julie (McGee) Bell - 1997

Sam and I are living in Woodbury. I've returned to school for Occupational Therapy. I'm doing a weekend program at St. Kate's. After a whole lot of debate and soul searching, I decided to pursue this program. I took classes this summer (pre-reqs) at St. Kate's and I've only had one weekend so far, but I really enjoy it. It just feels right. In fact, it kind of makes me feel like I missed my calling way back when I switched from pre-med. So, right now, I'm excited... although I'm sure there will be times in the very near future that I'll wonder why I did this. We'll take things as they come, and I know that they'll work out according to God's plan.

Sam works for Xcel Energy as a GIS mapper/plotter (maps phone and power lines into grids using GIS so the trucks can find 'em when they go out).

TIFFANY MAGNUSON - 2006

Tiffany is our "ever prsent" State Fair person as she and her sister train and show goats (you heard me, like four feet and a beard). Well, concerning this past Fair Tiffany writes, "This year I did go to the State Fair again but this time i went with my Market Boer goat...His name is Sirloin. He got forth place in his class of 40ish and 3rd in showmanship...Amanda and I, a team effort, got Grand Champion Herdsmenship." How cool is that! YOU GO GOAT GIRL!

Marcia Hewitt - 2003

Hey BUMY! I am just starting my fourth and final year at Minnesota State University Mankato and I am very busy! One of the disadvantages of being indecisive about your major...lots to do your last year! The major I finally settled on is Mass Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. I really don't know what I am going to do after I graduate but I am leaning toward non-profit or government. I am also studying for the GRE. I am hoping to start grad school in the fall for media ethics. The ultimate goal would be to teach at a college level but I am hoping to get some of that valuable "real world" experience I keep hearing about, so grad school will be a slow and steady part time thing for now. In my spare time I am busily planning my wedding for August of 2007 to my high school sweetheart who I'm sure all you PC kids remember, Brian Zappa. If you want to congratulate the bride to be who studies way too much, you can catch her at marcia.hewitt@mnsu.edu

SHANDA LILLIHEI - 2000

Is alive and working at David's Christian Learning Center. She finished a 2 year program at Henn. Tech in Child Development. Must be a good thing as she bought a conda about two miles from her parents in Columbia Heights and is still helping out around BUMYDOM. She is singing as a part of our Wednesday Evening Family Vespers service. You can give her a shout at:

DOUG MOLL - 2000

It's true, Doug graduated from U of M, Morris in 04 (Guess I owe some of you guys some money!) . Doug writes; "College was fun. I double majored in Management and Computer Science, and spent a semester in Japan. After school, I got a job for a company called Emkat that does handheld computer stuff. I was the first employee for the two owners, but we are at about a dozen now. I get to travel all over the US (and Canada and Mexico), usually about 4 days or so a month. Last month it was LA, and this month it is Atlanta, New York, Boston, and Albuquerque. I bought a house out in Maple Grove last year (05), and this year (July) I got engaged! (It surprised me too...) Her name is Becky. She is going to grad school now at the U of M to become a high school English teacher. I met her at Camp Bovey, where I was a counselor for a summer while in college. Anyway, we are getting married sometime next summer." If you want to send a shout to Doug you can find him at doug.moll@gmail.com

SARAH SIMPSON - 1994

"I just accepted a new job with Metro Urology to be a Biofeedback Therapist, full time. I will start October 2nd, because my trip out East (doctor recheck) is planned Sept 17th-Sept 23rd. I will be training for a few weeks in the main downtown St.Paul office, and then moving to my permanent location in Plymouth. This position will combine my health care experience and my graduate degree.

It will be quite an adjustment because my new roommate, Emilee is also moving in October 1st.
Although these changes will be difficult, they will all have a positive impact on my future goals and direction. I just wanted to update you all."
